Cookie Policy

Information about this website and how we work.

Draft cookie policy — cookie audit outstanding.

This is a starting point for a live cookie notice. The actual cookies, local-storage entries, analytics scripts and third-party services must be checked in a real browser before publication as a final notice.

1. What cookies and similar technologies do

Cookies are small pieces of data that a website asks a browser to store. They can support sign-in, preferences, security, statistics and third-party content. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, tracking pixels and device identifiers.

2. Essential website functions

WordPress and installed components may need technical cookies or session data to maintain administrative login, operate the contact form, provide anti-spam protection and protect the website. These may be strictly necessary for a service requested by a visitor. Exact names, providers and durations must be confirmed through a site audit.

3. Performance and analytics

The bespoke Twizu theme does not intentionally implement a separate analytics or advertising tracker. However, hosting infrastructure and installed plugins may process technical information, and future analytics tools could introduce optional cookies. [VERIFY INSTALLED ANALYTICS AND MEASUREMENT TOOLS, COOKIE NAMES, PURPOSES AND DURATIONS.]

4. Google reviews and third-party embeds

The sample testimonials currently shown on the homepage are static placeholders and do not need a live Google review feed. If a real Google Business Profile widget, video embed, map or social-media integration is introduced, it may contact third-party services. Review each integration’s cookie and data-processing behaviour before enabling it.

5. Indicative cookie register

The register below is a review checklist, not a claim that any specific cookie is currently set:

ESSENTIAL

Session and login controls

Potential WordPress authentication cookies, where required for signed-in users. Confirm names and retention.

SECURITY

Anti-spam and protection

Form security or hosting protections may use identifiers. Confirm functionality and applicable exceptions.

OPTIONAL

Analytics or preference storage

Not intentionally built into the Twizu theme; verify active plugins and future additions.

THIRD-PARTY

Embedded services

Review Google reviews and other widgets individually before using them in production.

6. Consent and controls

Under UK privacy rules, non-essential cookies generally require information and appropriate consent before placement. Essential cookies may be exempt in qualifying situations. [CONFIRM WHETHER A CONSENT-MANAGEMENT PLATFORM IS REQUIRED, CONFIGURE IT, AND DOCUMENT HOW CONSENT CAN BE WITHDRAWN.]

You can also manage or delete cookies through browser settings. Blocking all cookies may disrupt sign-in or certain functions.

7. Contact and updates

Questions about cookies can be sent through our contact page or [INSERT VERIFIED PRIVACY CONTACT]. Draft prepared 13 October 2026. Complete a fresh review whenever hosting, plugins or third-party widgets change.
